I’m in a service-based industry, and my clients are the people I help every day. The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that I’ve truly helped someone—whether it’s guiding them through a difficult time, solving a problem, helping them see things from a new perspective, or achieving a new goal. That is what makes this work fulfilling. It’s what motivates me to get up and do this every day. Of course, I am paid to provide my clients with advice, but the most helpful thing I can offer them is perspective: this is temporary. What they are going through will pass. While they’re in the thick of it, it may feel overwhelming—it tests their patience, their trust—but they always get through it. Every client in my office eventually reaches the other side. Remembering that this is temporary—that this too shall pass—can be incredibly beneficial during difficult times.
With more than a decade of experience, Ms. Friedman has distinguished herself as a leader in the area of matrimonial and family law. She has developed a well-respected reputation for her aggressive attitude humbled by her compassionate disposition. Ms. Friedman focuses her practice on preparation, insight into the law and advocacy for her clients. Practicing side-by-side with Sari M. Friedman, she handles all areas of matrimonial and family law from inception through trial. Andrea B. Friedman is a named partner at Friedman & Friedman PLLC, Attorneys at Law. Friedman joined Friedman & Friedman PLLC, Attorneys at Law, as an associate in September 2008, after receiving her J.D. from Hofstra University Law School, and a B.A. from George Washington University. Her outstanding leadership and tireless efforts in representing individuals in matrimonial law led the firm to name Ms. Friedman a partner in 2014.
Ms. Friedman also volunteers her time at community organizations in various capacities. She is an active mentor to law school students through the WWBA, a former member of the Moxxie Network, a mentoring program dedicated to assisting other women to advance professionally and former member of the White Plains Rotary Club and a former member of Queens Centers for Progress’ (QCP) New Horizons Committee where she worked with other members to arrange community fundraisers to raise funds for QCP programs, which helps individuals with developmental disabilities.

More About Attorney Andrea Friedman
Ms. Friedman has emerged as a well-respected attorney. In 2014, Long Island Business News named Ms. Friedman "One to Watch." Then, in 2017, she was honored to be named one of "40 Under 40" in Queens. She has recently received an award from Hofstra University School of Law as an Emerging Leader of 2018 at their annual Outstanding Women in law event.

Andrea often teaches trial skills to students at Hofstra University School of Law. She has also been a guest lecturer at the Marino Institute of Continuing Legal Education, speaking to fellow attorneys on all aspects of matrimonial and family law.
She has recently been inducted as a member of the White Plains Rotary Club and is now a member of the Board of the Westchester Women's Bar Association. She is also a member of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
